Kris Johnson is the US History Teacher, Assistant Head of School at Cornerstone Academy. Kris has taught for years and has a counseling degree. She loves to immerse herself in rich teaching materials and to include the writings of our great thinkers from the past, study historical texts, and engage in dynamic conversation and debate. A fun fact about her is that she knows how to fly airplanes and how to jump out of them. 

Kris is passionate about Classical Christian education for many reasons. One of them being that this model capitalizes on a learner’s natural developmental stages of learning (Trivium stages of Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric) which results in a graduate who thinks and reasons critically – positively impacting the culture.
